Olga Berry (nee Goltz), 79, of Edmonton, Alberta, died at 2:26 pm on February 3, 2014 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. She was born March 5, 1934 in Newbrooke, Alberta to Fredinand and Olga Goltz. She married Donald Berry on June 11, 1955.
Mrs. Berry is survived by her sisters Elsie Poirier and Lydia (Alex) Assenheimer of Barrhead, Alberta and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving her are her three children: Brian Berry (Edmonton), Brenda (Colin) Berry-Wainwright (Vancouver) and Jane (Harold) Keller (Edmonton), and five grandchildren: Chris (Wendy) Keller (Edmonton), Justin Keller (Edmonton), Adam (Elizabeth) Wainwright (Hong Kong), Natasha Wainwright (Vancouver), Marissa DaRosa (Edmonton) and one great grandchild, Michael Keller (Edmonton).
Mrs. Berry’s parents and siblings, John, Meta, Henry, Ruth, Helmut and Frieda preceded her in death.
Olga was a quality inspector at BC Packers in Richmond, BC for many years. She was an avid gardener and produced many beautiful crochet, needle point and knit pieces.
Interested persons can attend visitation from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Church of God, in Barrhead, Alberta. The viewing will be followed by the burial at Lunnford Cemetery in Lunnford Alberta and the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the Church of God in Barrhead.
