Nimfa was a joy to work with. She valued the Unit 43 palliative care team very much and was indeed a champion for team work. Her care and compassion for her patients and their families defined her. She truly came to work for her team, her patients and their families. I am proud to say she worked with us. She always had a hello and and a good bye for us all and she always made a point of coming to share a few words in my office every morning as she was leaving for home. I miss her as does the whole team.
Our thoughts go out to her family, people she loved to talk about and share stories.

Daquiz Family –
Nimfa was such a tremendous ray of light for all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. I was not in the office very often, but when I was, Nimfa never failed to give me a smiling hug, to take a moment to ask about our family and to offer her help with any task at the time. She was a special person and will be greatly missed. Shamus and I send our deepest condolences and wish for you the strength to get through this time of heartbreak.

Patricia Talarico

My heartfelt condolences. I consider myself very blessed to have met and worked with Nimfa. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. She spoke so highly of her children and family, she was a very proud mother and grandmother. She was so kind and always willing to lend an ear. Her work ethic was like no other and the care and compassion she gave to her patients was beautiful. She will be dearly missed. May your faith and memories bring you comfort and peace during this time and as you heal from this difficult loss.

God bless.
