To Heather, Morley, Eugene and Ruth.
We are sorry to read of the passing of your loving son/grandson. We know he was loved by you and will be greatly missed. Praying that you will be comforted in knowing that he is in God’s care and that you will be reunited with him in heaven where there is no more pain. Please accept our sympathy.

Gloria Abada

Heather Joy and Morley, Nicholas was so blessed to have you as parents. I remember when I first played with him at church, when the nursery- children church was still up front. He just hugged me and loved on me and mom was trying to explain that I looked like someone he knows but I saw He loves because He had experience nothing but love from you guys. I am sad to not have him around on earth but I know that we will see him again. Thank you for Nicholas. Rom 5:5 says, hope never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. God’s Spirit in you will continue to keep you strong. Love you and praying for your family.

Larry and Velma Martin

Greetings Eugene and Ruth,

Today is another most difficult day for you and your family, and Velma and I want you to know that we are holding you before the Throne of Grace in prayer. Trusting the Everlasting Arms to hold you close and breathe His comforting love and peace upon you all.

Nicholas’ love a life, of complete innocence, wonder, trust, and love, were an inspiration and blessing which will continue to enrich your lives as you save and savor the memories in your hearts.

We draw strength from what we know, though there are many mysteries we cannot comprehend. “We live by faith and not by sight.”

A song written by Howard Davies, says: “Many are the things I cannot understand, all above me mystery I see, but the gift most wonderful from God’s own hand surely is his gift of love to me! Higher than the stars that reach eternity; broader than the boundaries of endless space, is the boundless love of God that pardoned me; O the wonder of his grace”. It goes on to say, “Jesus, in his mercy, left his throne above, all to be my Saviour and my friend”.

May you be encouraged and draw strength from God’s eternal love and from the love of many friends who share heartfelt grief with you as you mourn this loss.

” The Lord is close to the broken hearted and rescues those who are crushed in spirit.”

God Bless,

Larry and Velma

Ross and Linda Elliott

Dear Heather Joy & Morley: Our hearts were saddened to hear that Nicholas had passed away. We want to say thank you for doing such a tremendous job with raising and looking after your little man for 14 years. I think our first introduction to this charmer was when he was at the IWK Children’s Hospital in Halifax many years ago. And because over the years we got to spend so much time with your mom and dad, Heather Joy, we got to listen in on some of her phone calls when Nicholas was on the other end of the line. Those two had a language all their own. There are no words to describe the impact the three of you have had on us. That smile of his will surely be missed. He is in a better place, having fun, and teasing all the girls I’m sure. Much love, fond thought and prayers. Linda & Ross

Nicholas was a very special member of our family. We loved him deeply and often rallied around him and his family during the many challenging epiosodes of his journey. His passion for life and his contageous smile will be greatly missed. Thank God we know that his death is not the ‘end’ for Nicholas; it is the beginning of a fuller and more authentic experience. An eternity in a glorious environment free from all pain and limitations. Heather-Joy & Morley, until you meet him again, the peace of God will sustain you and the Joy of the Lord will be your strength.
