My heart is heavy; my dear cousin Buddy’s left this world. Though not close in age we always had a special bond from the time I was a child. My dad, Kenn was Bud’s uncle and were close. Bud and mom shared the same birthday and also got along well! I was so fortunate to be able to reminisce about dad and mom with Bud. I am already missing the interesting phone conversations Bud and I often had between White Rock and Drayton Valley as Bud stayed well informed on events both worldwide and close to home. I could always be my authentic self with Bud, speaking honestly sharing both my trials and triumphs with him. He always remembered to ask about what was going on in my life, which I appreciated, remembering what I’d shared with him on our last call. We didn’t always agree but that’s part of what gave our friendship texture! We could really laugh together too! Sending healing thoughts to Melita, Calvin, Terry, Rena, Alana, Crystal and their families. Bud was outstanding in his field, pun intended! I will never forget you, Bud. Love you, Sherry

It was always great to hear the stories dad had of Bud that usually had laughter involved. My sincerest condolences to you and your family at this time. Bet he’s already sold his first car in his new location!

Bud was a very special friend to both Wally and myself. He was there with common sense advice after Wally passed away. We appreciated him and his love for coffee at the A and W. To the family, my deepest condolences.

Bud was a great guy. He was one of our favorite customers. He never complained about anything and always had a smile on his face.
He was always ready to help out if he could– in fact we still have an old lawn mower at the cabin that he gave us when we needed one–and it still workks!!!
I know he will be missed terribly.
