With gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Olive McLennan announces her passing at the age of 90. She is survived by her husband and dance partner of 62 years, Roderick, daughters Grace and Joan (Paul) Larson, and brother Andy (Betty) Heron. Olive is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Clarke (Cecilia), Alison (Ray), Ian, Lee, Nicole, and Natalie (who all held a special place in her heart), 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Olive was born in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta. She loved her 33-year career as one of the first Operating Room Technicians at the University of Alberta Hospital. She had a great sense of humour, and loved to cook, travel, and spend time outdoors.
She was predeceased by her son John; parents Sophie and Robert Heron; brothers Sterling, Robert, Roy, Laurie, Richard, Raymond; and her sisters Eva, Daisy, Violet, Marjorie (partner in crime), and Tina.
