Maxime Morris L’Hirondelle


On October 11, 2017, a well-known and versatile Edmonton musician “Max L’Hirondelle”, was called home by his Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus.

Max is survived by his loving wife Dolly who never left his side; 2 daughters; Maxine Lorente (Gerald) grandsons Lee, Luke, Ty. Debra Metcalfe, grand-daughters Jill, Christine.  He is survived by siblings Therese, James, Joey, Dolores, Celeste, George and numerous nieces and nephews.

Max was predeceased by his parents Bertin and Delima and siblings Bertin Jr, John, Lorette, Bernadette, Arthur, Patsy, Lorraine, Maxine.

The family would like to thank the staff at Capital Care Dickensfield for their compassionate care and for the friendships of many of the amazing residents and their families.

A Celebration of Max’s Life will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Whitemud Creek Community Center, 951 Ogilvie Blvd NW Edmonton, AB. Father Jim Holland officiating. Cremation has already taken place.
