On Sunday, January 29, 2017, Mathieu of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta formerly of Clarenville, Newfoundland passed away suddenly at the age of 26 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Ashley; daughters Faith and Cheyenne; parents John and Barbara; sister Cybel of Quebec and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Mathieu was a member of the Disciple Christian Motorcycle Club and the Royal Canadian Legion.

Cremation has taken place. A time to pay your respects to his cremated remains will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Serenity Funeral Chapel, 9914-103 Street, Fort Saskatchewan.

A Celebration of Mathieu’s Life will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Fort Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Legion, 9964-93 Avenue.

I’ve uploaded a photo of Mathieu from a while back. Hat on squish, fishing pole in hand and worms ready to go. A huge smile on his face! Ready to go fishing with Uncle Glenn.
I cherish the times that we spent together. I only wish that there could have been more of them.
This little kid…the one with the mischievous grin…loving, happy, eager to go! This is how I will remember him.
