Marvin Leslie Lennox


Following a very courageously fought battle with leukemia, Marvin Lennox of Winfield, Alberta passed away at Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on the morning of Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 71 years.

Marvin will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife of 44 years, Arla Lennox; son, Jerry (Deanna) Lennox and granddaughters Skylar and Kassidy of Fort Saskatchewan; Arla’s youngest sister Julie (Jack) Linklater who came to live with Marvin and Arla in 1974 and their daughters, Meaghan Jones (Kelly Rideout), Autumn Linklater and Paige Linklater who have always been treated as grandchildren,  and sister Marlene (Curtis) Pack.

Marvin was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Eleanor Lennox and brother, Ronald.

A Celebration of Marvin’s Life will be held in Dawson Creek, British Columbia at a later date and interment will be held at Mount Clare Cemetery, Winfield in the spring.

For those who so desire, memorial contributions in honour of Marvin may be made directly to the S.P.C.A. of one’s choice or Cause for Critters Animal Rescue Society, Box 7852, Drayton Valley, Alberta T7A 1S9.
