Margaret Helen Kelly died peacefully at the Gerald Zetter Center in Edmonton on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the age of 91 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother George Kelly and sister Audrey Mae Kelly.
Margaret was born in Revelstoke, B.C. and spent much of her life in the nursing profession. She was a faith driven person, respected by her many friends who were inspired by her dedication to NGO’s working for the poor in this world. She admired and loved the local indigenous people and demanded accountability of the politicians towards this population. Margaret was an example of how “one person can make a difference.”
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre Chapel, 9649-71 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Friends of Margaret express their thanks to the Zetter staff for their diligent care bestowed upon our friend.
