To the extended Watt Family;
Please accept our family’s sincere & deep condolences on the loss of a wonderful woman. The entire Watt family was a huge part of the fabric of our family’s life in Oakville especially in the life & work of St. Paul’s. My late parents, Anne & Bill Jackson, worked closely with both Mr. & Mrs. Watt, living out their lives of dedication & compassion to others.

To Wenda, Don, Valerie, Virginia, Heather & Melanie – you were fortunate to have been well-loved by Margaret Watt. I hope that your many memories bring you comfort & peace in the loss of your Mom.

Blessings to all,
Betty Jackson Clost

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Watt family on the death of Margaret.

The Rev. George and Margaret Watt Bursary has a special meaning to us as it was Joe Hockin and Roy McEwen who established the Bursary on behalf of St. Paul’s United Church members so many years ago.

Joan & I have kept in touch with Margaret over the years at Christmas time. We will miss her wonderful messages.

Blessings to the Watt family.

To the extended Watt family,

Please, accept my condolences on the passing of the lovely woman whom, throughout my time at St. Paul’s, I knew as “Mrs. Watt.” Both, she and “Rev. Watt,” were greatly admired and respected by church members of all ages. Whether meeting members of the congregation, especially children, after services in the W.H. Morden gym, in what is now named Watt Hall or in St. Paul’s sanctuary, both Reverend and Mrs. Watt did so with a warm radiant smile.

It remains a great honour to have had them attend our wedding at St. John’s U.C., Oakville and reception in 1972.

We send sincere sympathy to all the family and friends of your mother.

She touched so many hearts with her spirit of love and caring
She was a special gift from God to all.

I remember especially the farewell party at St. Paul’s. it was sad to see them go, but such a treasure to have known them both.

As long as they are in our hearts, they are never really gone.

Our prayers are for your comfort and for her peace.

Blessings, love & hugs to all from Harold and Reeta Ryerse

To all members of the Watt Family…
It is with great sadness that I extend my deepest sympathy to each of you on the passing of your loving mother. Margaret was a very special person who helped so many people in so many ways. She was a pillar of strength for her family and her church.

I have many wonderful memories of good times past at St. Paul’s United in Oakville with the Watt Family and I will always remember Margaret, George and each of their children, some of whom I had the pleasure of having in Sunday School and Young People’s.I shall miss Margaret’s annual Christmas card with all the news of her family and her activities.

Margaret will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
God Bless,
Fred Bostock and family

Dear Family of Marg Watt,

Our heartfelt condolences go out to each one.

Marg did indeed create a full life for her family. What a beautiful person. Of course, it’s hard to think of your dear mom without thoughts of your dear dad too. They were a wonderful couple serving their Lord together. We are blessed for having them at St Pauls for so many years.

Our sympathy with love,

John & Donna Starkey (June, Ian and Kirk)

Janet Bollinger

It is with sadness and sincere condolences that we learn of the death of Margaret Watt; while she and George lived in Oakville, she was much loved and respected by the congregation of St. Paul’s United Church. After their departure from Oakville, George and Margaret kept in touch with friends here, at Christmas time and other special occasions; they also had several visits here, opportunities for us to welcome them anew and to wish them well. Both Margaret and George are part of the strong fabric of a church that they were instrumental in leading over many years; the present congregation reflects their concern and guidance and they are missed.
