Our thoughts and prayers are with the Connell family. Percy was my great uncle (brother to my grandmother Isabelle). I was able to spend some time with Margaret a couple of years ago when I was in Edmonton taking care of some business for my Uncle Lawrence (Isabelle’s son). What a lovely, lovely woman. I’m sure she will be greatly missed by those who were closest to her. Heaven has surely gained an precious angel. Many healing prayers to her family.

Helen Hope

Our oldest sister Margaret was always there anticipating and organizing for all of us. She was dedicated to her own family. Percy would be so proud the way the boys have cared for her, well done, no regrets. Marg. made everyone in our family, whether visiting or passing through, welcome. We will miss her many phone calls and visits. We will especially remember her last visit and the wonderful time we shared.
Sister Helen, brother-in-law Harry and families of Peter, Terry, Michael and Cathy.

Lorraine & Ken Taylor

Deepest Sympathy to the Connell family from Lorraine (McDonald) & Ken Taylor. We will all miss Marg, a wonderful friend, since we were 10 years old! We have kept in touch, most of these years, but it has been more difficult these last years! My sympathy & thoughts also to Jessie, Jean & Helen!

I think back to when Marg, Jessie, my sister Shirley & I played Store in a basement,(left when they moved a house away)! We’d get cans from a nearby dump, to line our shelves, & never got sick from doing that! Marg was at my 85th Birthday at the Old Timer’s Cabin in 2012! Rest in Peace Marg!

Love from Lorraine & Ken

Terry and Ruth Hope

With fond memories.

Linda & Barrie Stewart

Auntie Margaret was well loved by our family; Rob and Corey have fond memories of her and Uncle Percy spending time at Buck Lake – we all worked on a 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle together and shared meals and card games there. More recently, Barrie and I enjoyed taking Auntie Margaret out for coffee when she lived at Churchill Manor and, later, at Lifestyle Options. We had many wonderful conversations, often including discussiions about tennis and curling, both which she liked watching on TV. Rest in peace, Auntie Margaret.
Loving thoughts from Barrie and Linda, Rob and Corey and their families.

Sandra Nielsen

Auntie Margaret was such a nice lady. We used to see her and her mom at the Co-op cafeteria. She always had time to chat.
