With deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of Marcus Harwood, at the age of 46. He was the husband of Arlene. They shared 12 years of partnership together.

Born in Sarnia, Ontario, he was the son of Fred and Marilyn and younger brother to Fred and Derek. Marcus moved to Edmonton, Alberta and was employed by National Fire Equipment for over 12 years.

Marcus enjoyed watching the Steelers, going to concerts, travelling, camping and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his easy going personality, his sense of humor and the pranks he used to love to play on everyone.

Lovingly remembered by Arlene, Fred and Marilyn, Fred (Odette, Fred, Dennis), Derek (Silvia), Stan and Stella, Kent (Carmen). His extended family includes Mark, Thyla, Taavi, Toivo, Teero and Tiimo, James, Brett, Sandra, Chris, Mikhayla, Sandra, Steve, Kevin, Shane, Michelle, Skip, Stacy, Gunner, Travis, Carmen, Jeff, Shelley, Lori, Jenn, Leigh, Orest, Natasia, Shaun, Paul and countless others who loved Marcus.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2pm, St. Peters Anglican Church 11035 127 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 0T3.

Memorial donations in Marcus’ honour may be made directly to ALS Society of Alberta, or ALS Canuck.
