MACOR, Elizabeth Mary

It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Macor (nee Purschke) announce her passing at the age of 92 years. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed peacefully with her children at her bedside. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus for eternity.

Elizabeth, also known as Betty to her family and close friends, was devoted to her faith and raised her family with that great devotion. She was a loving and caring person with a great sense of humor.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her children Colleen (Joe), Linda, Sharon (Joe), Lorraine (Chris), Frank (Maria), Catherine (Shane), Marilyn (Terry); 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her brother Edward Reinert.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Louis Macor, her parents Anna and Charles Purschke, and her brothers, Francis, Richard, Carl, and Arthur.

Betty you were an angel as so loving and kind when looked after my children Nicole and Lorne. when i would pick them up and they were reluctant to leave always insisted i should share supper with you and your family. we also had many visits and your faith in god was a good example to the young mother I was at the time. My daughter Nicole says you introduced her to god. I loved you and your family as neighbors and was sad when you moved away. I always thought of the place how it was when you were there. I know you are a real angel now Betty.

Jackie Nicks

She will be missed. I will always remember her laugh and smile. Hugs and kisses to all the family.
