MacKay, Brian Kenneth

It is with deep sadness that the family of Brian Kenneth MacKay announce his passing on February 12, 2021 after a bravely fought battle with cancer.

His memory will be cherished by his wife of over 40 years Sharon, his children Sean, Jay, Paul and his step-son Kristopher Spence, his four grandchildren and his sisters Barbara and Ruth.

Brian will be remembered fondly by his Sherwood Dodge family, especially his dear friend Rick Bartling.

Brian was pre-deceased by his parents Kenneth and Olive Miriam MacKay and his brother Paul.

Brian was born in Toronto and moved to Fort Saskatchewan in 1983 to work at the Shell Scotford Refinery.  He retired from Shell and went on to pursue some of his many hobbies which included photography, his love of trains and RVing.

The care and support which was offered by Dr. Linda Carter and the home care team was simply immeasurable. We thank you sincerely.

A graveside service has taken place.
