A life so beautifully lived deserved to be beautifully remembered. Please join us to mourn the passing of Robert Dale Lovas. Robert passed away on October 20, 2020. He was 41 years old. Robert was born in Fairview, AB on April 27, 1979.
Robert Dale Lovas was welcomed into the Lovas family on May 29, 1979. He was a loving little boy that loved to eat butter. Mom always found the empty butter dish and a smiling boy with a very shiny nose! He was a boy that didn’t care what he wore, as long as it fit. He was one to put on mom’s pink slippers and her purple sweater to go quadding.
His love for equipment started at an early age, sitting between mom’s legs on the tractor helping her drive. As soon as he opened his eyes in the morning, he would be outside playing or taking stuff apart. When his nieces came, he became the protecting uncle. When Carmen got up to the high school, she said it was like “Rockstar Status.” Kids were like, “Pugsly is your uncle! Cool!”
Robert’s mom always said he went through school very quickly. In one door and out the other. He loved working and was always going above and beyond to do what he could to help. Robert was a very spiritual man with a very strong-willed energy about him.
Robert and I (Jodi) met in 2004 and started our relationship. From there on, our souls were fastened together. I never had to worry about a thing. From that day forward, he made sure I was always taken care of. In February 2017, we were finally blessed to start our family with our first born, Ophelia – something we have been wanting for a while. We were graciously blessed again September 2020 with our second born, Birdee J. Robert loved being a daddy, putting his heart and soul into the girls. Ophelia gave him the nickname Big Daddy, and it sure was fitting. He was a big teddy bear when it came to kids. We will forever miss our Big Daddy. Robert was loved and cherished by literally too many people to name.
