Lorne R. Knapp of Drayton Valley passed away quietly on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Lorne was very grateful of nature and the outdoors, spending much of his time hunting, fishing and camping. His many far-fetched stories about fishing and hunting will be remembered with a smile. Lorne is survived by his daughters, Stacy Knapp (Gary) and Kristy Knapp; grandchildren, Jade Carlson, Cassandra Carlson, Calista Carlson, Raina Carlson, Joran Carlson, Ryley Denomme, Kaylee Boyd and Trace Campbell; siblings, Pat Meier (Ronald), Karen Crory, Dennis Knapp and Kathy Strocher (Travis), as well as many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Edith Knapp and nephew, Daryl Knapp. In honour of Lorne, a service will be held at a later date.
