On Thursday, June 1, 2017 Lora Fried of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 95 years.
Lora is survived by her loving family: two daughters: Louise (Rene), Linda (Jim); four grandchildren: Kris, Melanie, Kate, Jackie; two great-grandchildren: Zoe, Tristan, as well as many relatives and friends.
Lora was predeceased by her husband Donald.
Respecting Lora’s wishes no service will be held.

My sincerest sympathy on the loss of your mom, Lora. Our first meeting was in the 1980’s when we both joined Bob McLean’s oil painting classes, and those were fun times as well as some memorable paintings. Later she was in our bridge club after she moved to Bonnie Doon and we had great fun on many afternoons of cards and yummy lunches! Her friendship and warm smile shall be with me forever.
