I was so sorry to hear of Lea’s passing. We served together in 15 (Edmonton) Service Battalion for many years, and I always appreciated her. She was a special person, and my heart goes out to her family in this time of loss. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It is with sorrow I heard the news. I passed it on to others as soon as I heard. Lea served in the Military with me. We did many awesome courses and field adventures together. She was one of a kind, tough on the outside but loyal and dependable to everyone that she knew. I remember how proud she was when she got her first truck after getting a contract with the post office. I knew military days were pretty much done and that I would miss her but happy for her. Lea took s chance and was was determined to make it work. She even tried to get me to do the same. I was gutless though and didn’t try. Our days together in Wainwright were important to me. I will always remember her and am very sorry for your loss
