Linda G. Beisel


It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Linda G. Beisel during the early hours of Friday, April 12, 2019 at the age of 69 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dennis Allen Beisel; son, Ted (Crystal) Beisel; daughter, Anita (Scott) Peterson; grandchildren, Llyssa Beisel (Dillon), Andrew Beisel (Heather), David Beisel, Elizabeth Mattice (Dani), Grace Beisel (Jonah), Ted Beisel Jr.; great-grandson Wade; brother, Ron Martens; sisters, Evelyn (George) Kopervas, Angie (Ken) Duke, Michelle Leblanc, Sophie Weiss and Gloria Martens; sisters-in-law, Florence Martens, Darlene (Steve) Intihar, Donna (Jack) Jodien, Carol (Eric) Devries, Maureen (Mike) McKenney and Diane (Larry) Robertson; family members, Lorraine Sims, Marilyn Charrois, April (Brian) Greening-Romeo and Grant Greening, as well as many other extended family. Linda is predeceased by her father, Abe Martens and mother, Eva Wolfe Martens; brothers, Ernie, Menno and Irvin, sisters-in-law, Amelia “Emily” Martens and Edwina “Tyke” Martens; brother-in-law, Stan Weiss; father-in-law, David Beisel and mother-in-law, Anne Beisel. Linda’s life will be celebrated at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #269, 5204 51 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made directly to Mazankowski Heart Institute, 11220 83 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2J2.
