TROPEAU, Lillian Ann

On February 15, 2020, three days before what would have been their 53rd  wedding anniversary; Lillian Ann Tropeau passed away and went to join the love of her life Dwight in Heaven. She was 78 years old.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Dwight Tropeau (1997); parents Anne & Anthony Kowalski; in-laws Joseph Tropeau and Kathleen & Walt Norman; brothers-in-law Lynn Prime and Neil Tropeau;  best friend Valia Fitzpatrick and bingo buddy Helen Blizzard.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Sylvia Prime; daughters Jodean (Peter) Haermeyer and Marla (David) Van Neck; brother-in-law Robert (Cecile) Tropeau and sisters-in-law Shelby (Laurie) Bergen and Kathy Tropeau; good friends Kathi & Felix Miller and Marlene Schaan; her many aunties, nieces, nephews and cousins especially Pauline Czerniak, Victor (Marilyn) Kowalski, and Larry (Gloria) Turchenek. Her grandpuppy Scruffy and grandkitties, Koffie, Tigger, Latte and Kona will miss Granny’s treats and ‘scritches’.

Lillian loved life, her husband, and her girls. The last four years were very challenging for her, having had a stroke, broken both her hips and her recent bout with encephalitis. Through all of this she never gave up, and faced each day with a beautiful smile on her face. Thank you Mom for your beauty and grace, you will be missed more than you will ever know.

Cremation has taken place, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Mom loved flowers, in her memory, if you so desire, buy a flower or bouquet and give them to someone facing a challenge.

Her smile and personality were infectious. I have fond memories of childhood trips out to Edmonton to visit Aunite Lil Jodi and Marla, which I will always hold close to my heart. She will be missed and very fondly remembered.

Dear Sylvia, Jodean, Marla and family,
My sincerest sympathy on the passing of Your sister and Mom. My late husband Eugene was first cousin to Lillian. I have fond memories of her when she worked at Sobeys in Saskatoon. We would have a nice chat every time I would see her there.
May she Rest In Peace.
Love, Linda (Ritchie) Twamley
