It is with greatest sadness and much love that we say Goodbye to our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Reynald Jean-Louis LeVasseur who passed away February 17, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Reynald is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Beryl of 52 years, sons Victor LeVasseur and Christophe LeVasseur and four grandchildren, Zoe Beryl, Avia Lea, Devon Reynald and Cashlyn Mabel. Also by the daughter of our heart Rachel Keewatin and Reynald’s good friends Gerry Boisvert and Ted Galick.
Reynald is survived by his brothers Carroll LeVasseur, Jean LeVasseur and Stephane LeVasseur and his sister Marie France Wilson and brother-in-law Terry Wilson all of Quebec .
He will be remembered by sisters-in-law Sandra Demoline (Don Kerr), Julia Radford, Lesley Nuttall and brother-in-law Craig Nuttall.
He will be sadly missed by the many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family as well as his friends and neighbours from Quebec to Alberta.
Reynald was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Hèlène LeVasseur and his brothers Pierre and Paul, his mother-in-law Mabel Brown and brothers-in-law Ken Demoline, Bill Radford, and nephew Tom Nuttall.
Reynald requested Immediate Cremation and the ashes transported to Les Jardins Du Souvenir, Gatineau, Quebec where interment will be in the family plot.
No Service will take place in its stead a Celebration of Life will be held on the shores of Lake of the Woods, Kenora, Ontario at a later date as Covid Pandemic permits.
Thank you to the University of Alberta Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute for the care he was given during surgery and treatment.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the excellent and loving staff that cared for Reynald during his End of Life at the Lamont Health Care Centre.
