Letourneau, Yvette Marie

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Yvette Marie Letourneau, formerly of Leduc, on November 7, 2021, just shy of her 91st birthday.

Yvette will be lovingly remembered by: her two sons, Doug (Darlene) and Kevan (Donna); Grandchildren: Denny (Candice), Justin (Dana), Kent (Ashley) and Angeline (Theo); Great-Grandchildren: Torin, Annika, Liv, Quinn, Claire, Jacob and Audrey; Brother-in-law Clifford Letourneau, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Yvette was predeceased by son Reid, husband Albert, her parents and siblings.

A private family funeral will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Parish in Leduc. Unfortunately, current restrictions will limit the number who can attend. Unless you have heard directly from an immediate family member, please choose the livestream option on the Church’s website https://www.stmichaelsleduc.com/.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Yvette was a long time supporter of many charities and one of her favourite’s was Children Believe.

The family would like to thank the staff at Capital Care Laurier House in Sherwood Park for their kind, compassionate and loving care of Yvette over the past 3 years. The management and staff are truly the model for how the elderly should be cared for in long-term care facilities.

Our families have been friends for as long as I can remember, and there were many dinner’s and Sunday afternoons spent together, when we were children. Yvette would always have a joke to tell, and a smile that came easily, and straight from her heart. She will be Greatly Missed!
Sending Love and Prayers to All of Yvette’s Family .

Kevan, Donna, Doug, Darlene and families,

I am truly blessed to have had your beautiful mom in my life. Trips to Leduc always included a fun afternoon of shopping and/or a meal out, and the past few years, memorable visits in her home in Sherwood Park. I will miss her jokes (there were many!) and the laughter we shared.

My visits to Alberta will not be the same without seeing Yvette….I will miss her immensely…heaven gained an angel. Deepest sympathy to all of you at this difficult time.
