Our beloved husband and father, Larry passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 20, 2013 at the age of 83 years.
His sweetheart and loving wife of 61 years, Joan and his four daughters: Laurie (Ross) Gregory, Barb (David) Guglich, Kelly (Bill) Dabbs and Linda (David) Lautner survive him. He leaves 8 grandchildren: Marion, Rob, Cara, Megan, Daniel, Scott, Lauren and Elise.
He was the third of five boys and is survived by his brothers: Jim, Neil, John and Bill.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Kelsey Lautner.
Larry was born in Winnipeg to Ivy and Theodore and lived there until 1962 when he was transferred to Saskatoon. In 1999, he and Joan moved to Edmonton. His many interests included community service with the Elks, camping, fishing, travelling and gardening. He was also very creative in his card playing. His greatest joy was his family and his grandchildren.
Please join us in a celebration of his life on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Spirit West Church, 7003-199 Street, Edmonton. Interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery following reception.
