On June 28, 2021, John Langkamp was called to his eternal home at the age of 90. John was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary in 2017. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Don (Gladys) Langkamp, his daughter Maureen (Jeff) Jacobi and grandchildren Rachel Langkamp, Joshua (Reeni) Langkamp, Melissa (Taylor) Calfat, Kristin (Chris) Luimes, David (Jill) Jacobi, Brent (Christa) Jacobi and Megan (Dennis) Nixon, as well as 24 great-grandchildren.
John was also predeceased by his father and mother, Johan and Hendrika Langkamp, brother Theo and his wife Diny Langkamp, sister-in-law Louise Albers and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ralph and Rie Winkel.
The family is very thankful for the care and support of the Westview Continuing Care Facility in Stony Plain. While all staff were amazing, we would like to thank Sandy as she was continually in contact with any changes in Dad’s health.
A tough man to the end, John lost his battle with a form of Parkinsons. He was a blessing to his family who benefited from his kind and caring nature. He will be missed immensely.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Canadian Reformed Church, 21112 – 35 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.

I am not sure if John is the same man who used to work for my father David Stone of Alix AB–if so he and his wife were good friends of our family –we admired them both very much much –my mother Maggie Stone lived to be 102– sincere sympathy to your family
