Imagine, if you will, Marylin Joyce Kuresh, 5’6”, an excellent cook and cookie maker, who could make perfect ginger snaps, shortbread and macadamia nut cookies. A wry sense of humor marked her personality. She was born July 2, 1944 in Kamsack, SK, yes, a prairie girl who loved life and lived with frugalness and exceptional toughness. Marylin was the middle child, survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack, a man with a Texas smile and a classic business sense and by her parents Frances and Bill Todosichuk; sisters, Ellnor Fesik and Beverly.
Jack and Marylin camped together, gardened and balanced sunny days with storms that come to blended families. We mourn as a family, but Marylin would be matter-of-factly able to say she believes she will live again and hear the voice described in the Bible at John 5:28-29. She died as she lived, proud, unique and it’s hard to describe how much we will say and do together in the paradise of Jehovah God’s new world to come.
It was Marylin’s request to be cremated and no service to be held.
