Emily was a cheerful and intellectual woman who had an abiding love of books, natural science, history and culture. This was an exceptional time for Emily as she started a family, formed meaningful friendships and explored flora that was fascinating to her. After returning to Canada in 1978 and raising her children, Emily completed a Master of Library and Information Studies degree at the University of Alberta.
Memories of Emily’s kind, generous nature and her thirst for knowledge will be cherished by all who loved her. She will be deeply missed.
