KREBS, Sandra Margaret

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Margaret Krebs our amazing Angel, beautiful Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Great Auntie, on February 6th, 2022 at the age of 60.

Sandra is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her adoring spouse Darren (married 38 years); son Trevor; daughter Sarah; brother Mike (Colline); mother- in-law Beryl; sister in law Cindy (Daryl); brother-in-law Scott (Nicole); Special Aunt Violet; nephews Matthew, Jesse, David, Paul (Michelle), Jordin; nieces Jenelle (Chad), Brittany (Matthew), Katlyn; great-nephews and nieces Avery, Peyton, Tate, Owen, Charlie, Archer and Brynn. Sandra had many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cousin Tami spent many devoted hours with Sandra in her last moments.

Predeceased by her Loving Parents Fern and Lloyd (2013) and father-in-law Bob (2002).

Sandra touched the lives of many, and she will leave a void in our hearts that no one will ever be able to fill. She will remain the strongest person we know, weathering everything life threw at her with such bravery and willingness to keep fighting. After everything she battled through, she seemed invincible. Sandra was well known for the love she would freely give to anyone who had the pleasure to cross her path. Her warm hugs given with so much care and strength will never be forgotten. She would never fail to remind her family and friends how much they were loved by her.

God put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. Heaven must be beautiful as He always takes the best. He knew that you were in pain, He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

If you wish, donations may be made to the Lupus Society of Alberta or Fort Saskatchewan Rivercrest Care Centre Hospice.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Darren, Trevor, Sarah and to all of the extended Krebs families. I first met Sandy around 25 years ago when she brought Trevor and then Sarah to attend my playschool. Sandi was a warm, caring and loving woman. She always had a twinkle in her eye and her beautiful smile showed the tenderness within. She will be sadly missed by all.

Darren, Trevor and Sarah,

We are very sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife and mom. I first met Sandy when the kids were in kindergarten. She was so bubbly and chatty and every time I’ve seen her throughout the years she was the same despite the struggles with her health. Strength to you all and may her soul rest in peace.
