On December 1, 2018, Jeffrey (Jeff) Gordon Kirchner of Leduc, AB passed away peacefully at the age of 55.
His memory will be lovingly cherished by wife Sue and son Jarrad. He is survived by parents Gordon and Sylvia Kirchner of Leduc, and will be missed dearly by brother Jody (Laurel) Kirchner, sister Pam (Doug) Wilson and sister Trish (Jon) Grimston and step-children Karen (Quenton) Pongracz and Jessica Nugent.
Jeff was a caring and thoughtful uncle to three nephews Derry and Keaton Kirchner and Parker Wilson, as well as niece Tatum Wilson. Poppa Jeff will be remembered fondly by his two grandchildren Quinn and Odin Pongracz. Jeff enjoyed a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. He will be remembered for his passion for golf and hockey and his love of gardening.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nursing staff and doctors at the University of Alberta Hospital, Intensive Care Unit, who continued to show Jeff and his family kindness and compassion until the very end, which was of great comfort to them through his brief battle with cancer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 4606 – 48A Street, Leduc, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.

So sad to hear of Jeff’s passing. I have nothing but fond memories of high school and playing hockey with him. Remanising over old photos I can’t remember a time he was ever mean or angry. That’s rare during adolescence and competitive hockey. A kind soal that will be missed.
