I was lucky enough to work with Kirby for a short time at SNC Lavalin in Edmonton. Great man, great personality and always a pleasure to talk with and be around. My condolences to his family and relatives; he sure was fun to be around. God Bless

My deepest condolences to the Bara family. I played high school ball with Kirby
and he was always the one to lead the festivities on the bus rides to and from games.

I’ll never forget Kirby, especially the way he introduced himself many many years ago that he was my cousin!!! Ever since then we rode the bus together for work & had many lunches. He would make me laugh so hard I cried at times, he had such a great sense of humour and I’ll never forget that smile. He really made you feel like you meant something to him. I’ll cherish that forever. Sympathies to the whole family. I’ll miss you dear cousin.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Kirby. Growing up two doors down from the Bara’s, Karen
was my best friend and Kirby was like my older brother. He was the older brother that
could always make you laugh your head off! I will forever cherish my memories of growing
up with Kirby. His loss is huge. My love and sympathy to Kirby’s wife and children, parents, sister, brothers, nieces and nephews and probably millions of friends. Love you

Very sorry to hear about Kirby. I remember him playing with my uncle Dan Raitz when they were boys long ago. He was always very nice to me and will be missed.
