Kevin Vestby passed away suddenly at the age of 58 years old at the Royal Alexander Hospital. Kevin is the 5th child of Cliff & Alice Vestby (both deceased) and was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan. Kevin attended Kelliher High School and graduated in 1974 and then went on to Regina to complete a nursing degree. Kevin joined Franscian Friares and Oblate Brothers to study Theology and then moved to Fort St. John for a director nursing position in 1979. From 1982 – 1986 Kevin came back to Edmonton to teach at the monastery. Kevin bought a farm near Bruderheim in 1990 where he resided. Kevin enjoys all animals, and gardening. Kevin continued his passion in the nursing field for 39 years and was continuing his education throughout the years. Kevin leaves behind 6 brothers: Dennis, Rodney, Gene, Derek, Brian and Kirby; two sisters Sandra and Yvonne, many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. Kevin will be missed by his many friends and family. May you Rest in Peace.
