I have known Ross for many years. Both as my all time favorite farrier in both BC and AB and as a good friend. He was one of the best men Ive ever known. He was always making me little gifts for holidays such as beautiful bridle hooks which I still use. He had a rough few years in BC healthwise but was always positive and hard working. I remember my son and I visiting he and Sharon in AB years ago and they refusing to let us leave the house without sandwiches and cookies. Just the type of salt of the earth people they were and are. I will miss him greatly.

It is with great sadness that my wife Sharron and I heard of Ross’s passing. He was my farrier and my friend and we spent some good times talking about Alberta old time cowboys. He was true to his word and a man you could always count on and we will miss him.
