KERR, Donald Dawson

Donald Dawson Kerr went home to be with his Lord and Saviour. He is having the reunion he has been waiting for with his daughter Roberta Dawn Kerr (1979). He will be greatly missed by his daughter Katherine (Glenn) Leis and grandchildren Micaela, Nicholas, Noah Leis. He is predeceased by his parents William (1982), mother Olive Linda Harris (1975), brother Wilson, and sister Della. We want to thank all the homecare staff that looked after Don in my home and the wonderful staff at Rivercrest Lodge Fort Saskatchewan. They worked tirelessly to keep Covid out of their facility for 8 months. They are tired but keep caring for all the residents. I’m eternally grateful for the care and compassion they gave my dad. In light of Covid restrictions, there will be no funeral.

Dear Kathy,
So sorry to read about your Dad in today’s paper. How we enjoyed our friendship with him, Roberta and you. Seems so long ago and yet we have never forgotten any of you. YES he has joined Roberta in glory. I remember loaning her my piano sheet music The Holy City. She played it at church on the Sunday then gone the next day. HUGS across the miles. So glad you posted it in The Windsor Star. I have also forwarded it to Heritage Park Alliance as many of the ‘old timers’ will remember all of you too. Much love from us.
