Kenneth Frederick Nash

Kenneth Nash passed away April 22,2015 at the age of 93 years.

Ken was an avid gardener, spending over 33 years to cultivate the same garden and passionately giving advice to other gardeners.

He travelled through out western Canada for his employment in pipefitting and instrumentation, and just earned his 60 years of service award from the pipefitters union last year.

Ken will be deeply missed by numerous sisters and nieces and nephews in United Kingdom, his gardening friends in Strathcona Rail Community Garden; and his former colleagues in the union.

His presence will continue to be felt in the community garden for years.

I will miss Ken, he was a wealth of info from gardening to his fishing stories about golden trout to big pike!! Condolences to the whole family! He was always at the garden and some days worked to hard! A good man!!

I shared 20 years of gardening in the same garden as Ken.
I last saw him in the Grey Nuns Hospital a couple of weeks ago.
We reminisced about those past years.
I wish to offer my condolences to his family.
Will miss him.

I will really miss your letters with all the snippets of your life in Canada, but I have some lovely memories. I will never forget going to school on the back of your motorbike, sometimes complete with hockey stick ! I felt very special, the bees-knees in fact. Good- night Uncle Ken and God Bless. Wendy x.
