It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the family of Ken Craig of Edmonton announces his passing on December 23, 2013 at age 62. Survived by his spouse of 28 years, Carol Sayre; children: Anthony (Jolene Stubert) Craig, Patricia (Ken) Murphy, Ashley (Janet) Craig-Fithen, Bonnie (Robert) Douglas, Amanda (Darcy) Norton, Jocelyn (Chris Kuchuk) Taylor, Tammy (Shawn) Roberts; grandchildren: Jacklynn Craig, Racheal Craig, Jessica Craig, Colton Craig, Raelee Murphy, Declan Murphy, Brody Craig-Fithen, Ty Craig-Fithen, Rowan Douglas, Benjaimin Norton, Kate-Lyn Norton, Jackson Norton, Hailea Taylor, Xander Taylor; great-grandson, Micheal Craig-Louison; siblings: Dale (Lorna) Craig, Joanne (Dave Fode) Craig, Cheryl (Gene) McIvor, Tracey Craig, Dave (Rosemarri) Klamn. Predeceased by his parents Pauline (Quaale) and Charlie Craig; grandparents: Nettie and Charles Craig and Marion and Palmer Quaale. Ken was a proud (born and raised) Edmontonian. He attended Prince Charles Elementary School, Sherbrooke Junior High School, and Victoria High School. Ken spent 35 years working as an ESB for the Canadian National Railroad. He enjoyed playing fastball, hockey, and curling with his buddies from CN. One of his passions was being a Scouter. He was a leader with Kirk 56 as well as a Service Scouter at Ernest Poole Camp. A celebration of Ken’s life will take place on December 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Christian Life Centre 10123 Princess Elizabeth Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
