It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father and Opa Arthur Keehn who went to be with his Lord on December 5, 2020 at the age of 80 years.
Art was a devoted family man, and his memory will be forever cherished by Clara, his loving wife of 58 years, daughter Debbie Keehn, son Darren (Lisa) Keehn, and grandsons Zakary and Jesse Keehn. With a special mention to Ray Keehn (nephew) who felt fortunate to have two fathers (Arnold & Art). Art also leaves to mourn one brother, Ervin (Reta) Keehn. He was predeceased by a son Dean Keehn, parents Wilhelm and Wanda Keehn, and siblings Reinhold Keehn and Arnold Keehn.
Art was born June 24, 1940 in Stewartfield, Alberta. At the age of 17, he moved to Edmonton where he met his wife and began a family. Art was a family man who fiercely loved his wife, children, and grandsons and always spoke of them with pride and admiration. But always a farm boy at heart, you would find Art at his brother’s farm in Leduc every seeding and harvest season driving that Massey Ferguson combine humming a tune. Art is remembered by family and friends as a gentle, sincere and humble man with a gift of putting people at ease. His kindness knew no bounds as he would gladly give of himself to anyone who was in need.
A Graveside Service will be held at South Haven Cemetery on December 11, 2020 . Those will wish to join by virtual attendance may do so by viewing the livestream at 11:00 am at https://distantlink.com/SerenityES.html.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Arthur Keehn’s honour may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or email www.albertacancer.ca/donate/.

Our hearts were saddened by the loss of Art. He was such a kind, tender hearted man. He was a model father and husband. We remember his love of pranking people…as we were the recipient of some. We know he is now pain free and rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. We pray for comfort for you Clara, Debbie, Darren and the extended family.

What I share with you will not surprise you at all. Art was someone that everyone needs to have in their life. Kind, caring, unselfish, he lived to serve his family, friends and faith. We will miss his friendly smile, wave, walking by our parent’s home. Humble, pleasant, and the best neighbour anyone could have.

Anyone who has ever met Art even for a short time would have no doubt that he was a very special person. If you were ever in his orbit , you felt the “father like ” love and caring and safety usually reserved for close family . I feel privileged to have known him . I’m sure he will continue to have a positive impact on peoples lives by the very memory of him.

So sorry to hear about Art’s passing. He certainly was a kind and giving man – willing to help anyone in whatever way he could. I never saw him upset or angry.
He would put up with anything us crazy neighbors would want to do in his home and always made everyone comfortable. Think of you often Clara – take care.

Dearest Clara, Debbie and Darren, Lisa and boys. We are so sad to hear of Arts passing (for our sake) but so happy for him to be able to celebrate Christmas better than any of us here could ever imagine. Loved his smirk and twinkle in his eye as he spoke. We have fond memories of Art working in the church nursery, sitting on the floor and playing with the kids. Everyone loved his kind and quiet personality. We will all miss him dearly but so thankful we can say ‘see you soon Art’. Lots of love and hugs coming your way!
