Doug Pippus

To Karen’s Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences to you at this time of your loss. I count Karen as a dear friend. She was the reason I first went to Ghana almost 20 years ago. She introduced me to many Ghanaians and other missionaries who have remained my friends to this day. It was a great privilege to travel over country with her and to see her work, her passion for the people she loved, and her joy that overcame some of the daily hardships with which she was challenged. She brought that same passion and joy to her work with internationals here in Canada. Finally, I can never remember a conversation with Karen where one or more of her family members did not come up in some way. She loved all of you and was very grateful for each of you. As she rests now in Jesus’ presence, may you know his presence with you as you celebrate her life and mourn her loss.

Doug Pippus (for my wife, Sharon, also)
