Johnston, Keith Eaton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Johnston on 31 October, 2021 after living with Alzheimer’s for many years.

He is survived by his wife Lorretta of 55 years, his son, Jeff (Jennifer), grandson Sam, brother Roger and sister-in-law Deanna Dahl.
Keith was predeceased by his son Richard, and his parents Norman and Muriel.

Keith was a salesman, from cars to travel to promotional products. His great love was travel and he visited many places and countries in the world, often trying out the language of that county. He especially loved spending time with friends and family and meeting new people. He will be missed.

As a valuable member of the Strathcona County Volunteer Fire Department he earned an exemplary service medal, recognizing 20 years of loyal and meritorious service. He also served on various other Boards including the Josephburg Agricultural Society, Josephburg and Alberta Water Co-Ops, and the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Keith’s honour to the Josephburg Community Church Cemetery Fund, 21380 Twp Rd 550, Fort Sask., AB T8L 4B9

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held on November 10, which would have been Keith’s 75th birthday. Condolences can be sent to www.serenity.ca
