It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John. He loved, was loved and will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.
John is survived by his loving wife Fran O’Neill, mother-in-law Florence McDonald, sister Lynn Masters, brother Kevin O’Neill (Gladden), nephews Christopher Masters, Kevin Masters (Kate), niece KerriLynn Lommer (Rob), step children, David Szoo, Dale Szoo (Jenn), Daniel Szoo (Andrea), Darren Szoo (Melissa), Jamie Szoo (Brendon Cornish), many great nieces and nephews and those who called him Grampa John. John loved all and especially enjoyed family events and gatherings.
A Celebration of life in an informal setting will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the home of John’s niece KerriLynn, 7 Fair Oaks Drive, St. Albert, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton, AB.
