Vicki, Marilynn, Grant and families; My deepest sympathies to you all on the loss of your dear sister, auntie, wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by so many. I am thankful for even the little time I spent visiting with Joanne and Vicki last summer. Great memories to be cherished. I am sure that she is now soaring on gossamer wings watching over all that she loved and held dear. No matter the timing or the reason we hate to loss one we love. For Joanne, she is now on to the next leg of her journey. Wishing you Godspeed Joanne!

Joanne was not only one of my favorite cousins, but also became very dear to me in my mothers passing. She comforted me more than anyone! She was there for me, she called and talked, when I needed it most. I tried to do the same for her when her mom became I’ll. She told me she was family, and she was there always for me. I thank her for this! This is our Joanne, a VERY special person! It’s no wonder Joanne was more than to one Aunt, their favorite niece!!
Joanne will be missed dearly by us! We loved her very much!
Glad we were able to spend time with her recently before she got sick!! We had lots of great laughs and memories! They will be cherished FOREVER. Rest in peace Jo!
Love Terry & John

I was devastated when I first got the news of Jo-Ann’s fate. I reflected on all the times we spent together growing up as cousins & all the trouble we got ourselves into with our respective parents – trying new experiences that we all do growing up. I remember those times fondly & will treasure them. Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same. Jo was one of these people to me. I use this quote from Gandhi to end this tribute – “There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.” Keep that smile you wore so well and enjoy your new journey – I will miss you.

Such a short time here on earth. Impacted so many lives. You will forever be remembered for your acceptance, everlasting conversations and your contagious laugh. You will always hold a place in our hearts.

It is so sad when someone leaves this world much too soon. Even though the family is left with wonderful memories, it leaves a hole in their hearts. Everyone will miss Jo-Ann’s smile.
