It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emerson Palmor Jevne, (formerly of Entwistle, AB), passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the age of 68 years.
He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Judith; son Hollis (Jacqui and her daughters Jessica and Danielle); brother Clifford (Alison) and their children: Trevor, Allison, Sherrie and their families; brother-in-law Alex (Gwenyth) Mann and their children: Christopher, Catherine, Kim; Judi’s nieces: Cindy (Jarret) Nay, Tammy Nay and her daughters: Jessie, Katie; Aunt Phyllis Tufty as well as her daughters: Karen, Ila and their families.
Emerson had a small family but many close friends and wonderful neighbours. He was predeceased by his father Stanley Jevne and mother Caroline (Tiny) Jevne. Emerson also leaves behind his dog Jaxx, who was his constant companion, road pal and protector.
The family sends a heartfelt thank you to Cardiologist Doctor John Dimitri, Nurse Practitioner Sarah Kosowan, Doctor Robert Stopainig at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton along with Pharmacists Marwan and Sharon at the Wabamun Drug Store for working as a team with us to extend Emerson’s life. Your expertise, compassion, professionalism and understanding enabled him to fulfill his wish of spending his last days at home. For this we are truly grateful.
At Emerson’s request a traditional; funeral service will not be held. A “Celebration of Life” to honour him will take place in the year for immediate family members.
