It is with the greatest heartbreak that we announce the passing of our daddy, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Jayson Samuel Lee Nichols of Drayton Valley passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the age of 23 years. Forever, he will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by the loves of his life – his three children, twin girls Eden and Kennedy and his son, Jayden; parents, Brenda and Jared Nichols; brother, Tyler Nichols (Jenna); sister, Kirstin Nichols; nephew, Dustin; GG, Ethel Ekholm; Gramma, Wilda Nichols; Aunts and Uncles, Marilyn Lee and her son Curtis, Debbie (James) Hollman and their children Courtney and Chelsey, Sharlene Ekholm, Corina (Dale) Derr and their children Rae-Ann, Chance, Shayla, Keyonna and Charlee, David (Sandy) Nichols and their children Trey, Reece, Steele and Cole, Denise (Shane) Jacobson and their children Rylee, Austin, Keagan and Cheyanne; the mothers of his beautiful children, Sara Siewiertoka and Megan Hicks, as well as by countless extended family and many amazing friends.

Jayson was predeceased by his Great-Grampa, Emil Ekholm; Great-Gramma, Minnie Montgomery; Grampas, Don Ekholm and Dale Nichols and Uncle, Edward Nichols.

For those who wish to pay their respects, a Public Visitation will take place at Life Church, 5115 50 Avenue Drayton Valley, Alberta, on Saturday, August 4, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m.

Jayson’s family have requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in trust for his children, Eden, Kennedy and Jayden directly through Serenity Funeral Service, 5137 50 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta T7A 1J7
