Jared has been a dear friend of my son, Mat’s since high school. They certainly got into some antics—including one particularly memorable one—when they borrowed my car.

The next morning when I went into the garage to head to work, I was confronted by a smashed front end! Alas… they “manned” up, took responsibility and worked to pay the insurance deductible. Both were very contrite. BUT, they certainly had a “zest” for having fun and “hanging out”! That zeal is clearly obvious is the pics I shared of the good time they had at Jared and Allison’s wedding!

Thank heavens most of the memories they shared were fabulous ones- filled with laughter and good fun. I was proud of the man Jared was. Even when he is was in high school ( I taught at the school), he was responsible, compassionate, intelligent and had a great quest for knowledge, for understanding. The balance he had– for learning/doing what had to be done…and finding joy in life — should be exemplified by all. He loved life, people, fun and learning. He was not afraid of hard work and didn’t always “take the easy way”… He has always been special…and truly unique.

I am SO sorry for your loss!
