Jan Hendrik Webbink


WEBBINK, Jan Hendrik
April 21, 1936 – February 28, 2016

On February 28, 2016 Jan Hendrik Webbink (79) left us to be home with the Lord from his home in Edmonton Alberta.

He was born in Vroomshoop, Overijssel, Netherlands, the son of his late father Jan Hendrik and his late mother Lummie Butter.

He is also predeceased by his wife Erna Marie Webbink; brother-in-law Herbert Droschinsky; brother and sister-in-law Karl and Diane Stangeland and his daughter Elin St. Pierre.

He leaves behind his younger brother Luke Webbink (Sylvia); his loving daughters: Wendy Parsons, Debbie Ostash (Joe), Judy Lorenz (Hans), Kim McCullough, and Lynn Reid (Dean Herman); his 14 grandchildren: Joy (Ted), Peter (Deanna), Tammy (Michael), Kyle, Alicia (Dave), Matthew (Lindsay), Devin (Anastasiya), Phillip, Brayden (Hannah), Alena, Joshua, MacKenzie, McKayla and Julia and his 3 great grandchildren: Dorian, Dylan and Jaelynn.
He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 Street, Edmonton, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 298 Bethel Drive, Sherwood Park, AB, with Interment at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.

We would like to express our gratitude to the many years of care given by Dr. Leslie Kasia and Dr. Mark Antoniuk.
