Jim Davidson passed away on Tuesday November 5, 2013, at the age of 85 years. He was born and raised in Winnipeg, spending his summers at Caddy Lake. Jim was happy spending a day at Netley Marsh with his pals and his dogs.

Jim’s love for hunting and fishing took him all over North America. Upon his arrival in Alberta, Jim settled at Antler Lake, where he lived for 30 years. Jim has been a long time member of the Associated Commercial Travellers. In his later years, Jim became a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was very active with the group, travelling to functions all over North America.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:00 am, at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel,
10129 – Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

I’m saddened that Jim has left us, but he put up a good fight over the past months. I will miss our trading of hunting stories and his attendance at our regular meetings. He was a real student of Canadian history and a true gentleman. It was a privilege to have known him. Bill Weber
