Isobel Claire Clark (Wanamaker)
April 22, 1930 – April 22, 2017
Isobel passed away on her birthday, losing her battles with both dementia and cancer, dying at the age of 87.
Born in Jasper, Alberta, so always a Jasperite at heart, Isobel and Don retired to Stony Plain in 1993. Isobel spent her last 2 years in Copper Sky Lodge in Spruce Grove, Alberta.
Isobel leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 66 years, Don Clark; their 4 children: Jan Smith (Steve), Lee Anderson (Jim), Grant Clark (Lori) and Lance Clark (Nancy); 10 grandchildren: Mandi Smith, Deanna Didriksen (Nils), Darcie Voorhees (Gabe), Lindy Akins (Ryan), Kelly Albrecht (Brent), Lannie Anderson, Jodie McCallum (Chris), Stephanie Clark, Tracy Esch (Ben), and Geoff Clark; 13 great-grandchildren: Willis and Rhys Didriksen, Corban, Laura, Tase and Jaxon Voorhees, Rhett, Raya and Ainsley Akins, Sienna, Mitchell and Lincoln Albrecht, and Hailey McCallum; numerous nieces and nephews; her brother Jack. Isobel was predeceased by her father Thorton Wanamaker, mother Bella and sister, Retha.
As per Isobel’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate her full and well lived life.
