HUEBNER, Linda Dee

Linda Dee (McMillan) Huebner, age 71, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 29th, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta after a long and valiant battle with cancer. We are heartbroken that she is no longer with us but find peace knowing she is finally Home and no longer suffering. She has passed from life to Life Everlasting. A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Linda’s memory will always be treasured in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Linda was born in Eugene, Oregon, April 7th, 1950. She grew up in Pleasant Hill in the beautiful Willamette Valley, a place that she adored and returned to often. She moved to Alberta, Canada in her early 20’s, met and married her husband of 46 years, Raymond Huebner and raised three children over the next several years. She was the most loyal, kind and gentle person you could meet. She carried herself with uncommon grace, forgiveness and steady faith against odds and she passed on humble wisdom to everyone around her. She always had gentle words of encouragement, a sense of humor full of quick wit and spread sunshine and love wherever she went, even right to end of her journey. We are all better for having had her in our lives.

She leaves a lasting legacy in her mother, Lucille; brother, Randy (Jill); sister, Pam; husband, Raymond; children, Sarah (Scott), Jonathan (Jamie) and Amanda; seven treasured grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Clyde and brother, Larry.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Linda’s memory to Pilgrims Hospice Society, who so lovingly and tenderly cared for her as she prepared to depart from this life and carries a special place in all of our hearts.

She is greatly missed by so many and will live on in our hearts, until we meet again!
