To Victor’s family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. Growing up in Stony Plain in the early 70’s Victor was a cornerstone of downtown business. All of the boys who played hockey knew him because he sharpened our skates and I could always count on him. He had a warmth and friendliness with me even though he was always busy. Looking back Victor was a true European craftsman, the kind of quality and workmanship that helped build community and country. I had an after school job a couple of doors down and Victor became one of my most favourite gentlemen while growing up. May he Rest In Peace.

I’m very sorry to hear of Victors passing . I sat down with him on a number of occasions and the passion he delivered in his recall of his past history and current events was unmatched. It was a sincere pleasure getting to know him.May God be with you and all his family during this sad time.
