Shalom!

On behalf of The Lilongwe Believers’ Tabernacle, and on my own behalf, I send warm greetings from Lilongwe, the Capital of Malawi, the Warm Heart of Africa. We join the entire Bride to celebrate the precious life of our dear Pastor and friend, Harold Hildebrandt.

Pastor Hildebrandt has a special place in the hearts of believers in our Church. Apart from the marvelous job and sacrifice to bring the Message to the country more than three decades ago, he has blessed our church in a special way. We shall always remember how he helped us build the church foundation and supplied all roofing materials. He made several trips across the seas to hold conventions in our church. He supplied the saints with message books and tapes – he catered to us spiritual food from the heavenly storehouse. His support both in the spirit and the physical realm has seen us get established in The Lord, and inspired to take the Gospel far and wide.
His work, alongside others, lit and fanned the fire of God in many Ministers and the laity, which led to the unstopppable evangelistic work in our City and beyond, as we we strive to bring the last one in. From here, many churches have been born and continue to expand including in rural areas, thanks to his support.

We pray for the family and the saints that God who is rich in mercy, love, and grace, should comfort you all and charge your hearts with hope, faith and resolve to meet our dear fellow soldier of the Cross across the river and in the rapture, in the twinkling of an eye anytime soon. Till we meet at Jesus’ feet!

With love,
Pastor Wilton Mkandawire
