It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Caleb Frank Hilbich on November 1, 2021, at the age of 32. He will be forever cherished by his parents, Frank and Becky Hilbich, sister and brother-in-law, Kristin and Carl Murray, and many beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was also recently engaged to Laci LeCaine, who loved and supported him greatly during their time together. His extraordinary talent and passion for music will undoubtedly be remembered by all those who ever had the chance to see or hear him play the drums. All who knew him will also remember that Caleb, or “Kaybee” as he was affectionately known, would give anyone a chance. His sacrificial personality showed through his willingness to lend a hand to whoever needed it. We take comfort in the knowledge that we will see him again one day in eternity.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have reached out to provide their support and loving care during this time. In honour of Caleb’s memory, the family is encouraging donations to an organization or cause that supports addiction prevention, treatment, or rehabilitation.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Ellerslie Road Baptist Church. The service be held under the requirements of the Restrictions Exemption Program but will also be streamed online for those who cannot attend.
