HERCEG, Michael Sam

August 4, 1946 – December 4, 2020

The family has lost its greatest treasure. Our hero passed away at the age of 74 years. His battle is done and now left to mourn are his loving wife, Pat, his sons Bradley (Joyce) and James, his siblings, Sylvia (David), Joanne, Barry (Karen), Alan (Liz), Terry, his sister-in-law Barb (Rob), his sister-in-law, Brenda, his precious grandchildren: Shayla, Trista, Aaliyah, Gracie, Kaylee, and Jamie.

Mike was predeceased by his eldest son, Cary and his loving brother, Paul.

His nephews and nieces were so very important to him and he loved every one of them.

Mike was born in Edmonton and moved to Lake Isle where he enjoyed many years with Patsy living in the country with their dogs. Mike enjoyed watching his football and hockey, camping, visiting neighbours, playing cards and travelling. He sure loved going to Mexico.

There will be no funeral service at this time. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.serenity.ca

Laurianne Christensen (Gomes)

It is with deepest sympathy that we convey our condolences to the Herceg family on the passing of their beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
I had the bounty of first meeting Mike/Sam and his lovely wife Pat, when I was a teenager, via his sister Joanne.
He was a kind and gentle Spirit, who displayed many upstanding qualities. A man of high resolve.
May his radiant Spirit continue to shine as he joins his departed loved ones. Our Prayers are with his dear family and for the on going Progress of his cherished Soul in the next World.
Laurianne and Grant Christensen.

To all the Herceg Family,

For all the defining years that I have had the opportunity to know Brad, Joyce, and the girls, Mike was always spoken about with love and a smile. The memories and stories will continue to make us laugh and smile until we get to all meet again. We feel your pain right now guys, and wish to god we could be there to throw arms around you. But know that tonight we are raising a toast in memory of Mike, and someday soon we will all sit around a fire and smile again at the legacy of a great dad.

Love from the Spence’s

Brenda Herceg

You know he had a long road and you try to prepare and stay strong. But that strength all goes to the crapper when you get the news. I pray for strength for the family. This one bites. He was my brother-in- law. Nope he was my Brother. God Bless Sambo and everyone he left behind.
